I've been making bath products for a few years now and I love it! I live in Northern California, work in downtown in a 8-5 job like most people, have a loving and supportive husband who is also my soap tester, my children who keep me on my toes and our two dogs. Who could ask for more? ...Except for my own small business...
You know, it all started with a bathroom remodel. I got this brand new shiny tub and thought, "Wow! I can take baths now!" With the desire to take a luxurious bath with bath salts, creamy soaps, mood lighting (candles) and a good book everyday, bathing got to be too expensive. So I figured I'd make my own. And here I am!
Soaps are made in small batches to ensure a quality batch every time. All soaps are made by cold process...the old fashioned way. Every bar is hand cut and weighs 4-5 oz. Yes, I eyeball it. So if your bar weighs more than 4 oz, you got lucky! Any imperfections add to the uniqueness of each bar.
I recently changed my recipes to better the environment. After learning that Palm oils have been endangering the orangutan population by snuffing out their habitat, I've decided to take my own personal action and quit using those oils. Every little bit counts! If you'd like more information on this, please highlight and paste this link on your browser: http://www.orangutan-appeal.org.uk/orangutans-an-endangered-ape/
